Well, they cant spend all their time investigating performance enhancing drug use by baseball players.

Worldwide Day of Play

How pompous. I am sure the starving people in Somalia were just waiting for the US Senate to give them the opportunity to break out the soccer ball.

I learned this week, thanks to Nmysys, that a defeatist attitude is the conservative way. Example: Why should the Republicans even try to pass a jobs bill? The President will just veto it.

Ask Reid and the Dems, they keep shooting down everything the house passes.

And don't forget that our great EPA is banning inhalers as they are bad for the environment. That should be fantastic for asthmatics! :bash

Funny how I'm to blame now. I have never said a defeatist attitude. Are you now through blaming Bush for everything?

LJ get it through your head that only 1/2 of 1/3 rd of the government is republican controlled. How would you suggest that Boehner can create jobs with the other third and the other 2/3rd controlled by the left?

But, but, but... Boehner PROMISED to create jobs.... I don't see a SINGLE jobs bill... Are you still crying that Boehner can't do his job?

(I can hardly wait for the answer about a "broken campaign promise" from a Republican....) Would that be anything like the Republicans filibustering EVERYTHING in the Senate for the last 3 years preventing ANY legislation from passing?
