I think this guy is dead on about why it's so expensive to hire people. Anyone care to debate what he's saying here? I'd really like to know what part is BS.

Note: To debate the topic properly, you would need to watch the video and site specific comments. (and it's only about the first 6 minutes)
The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.
Maybe I'm not getting any action with this post because I didn't have "communist" or some other action word that would draw in the left. Is it just not worth posting if you can't find a way to name call?

i only heard that the government regulations made it hard and expensive to hire people. There were no specifics in terms of what those regulations were. There was discussion of the government impeding his wanting to hire people because they wanted to be sure he was in compliance but again nothing about what that compliance regulations was. He's created an offshore company to deal with foreign clients because it was too expensive to handle them otherwise. I do not doubt, that it is expensive to hire people, I also know that there are all kinds of government regulations regarding compliance issues, quotas that need to be filled, etc etc. The fact that an organization needs a compliance department is telling in itself. What does come through loud and clear is that a company is created with the idea of making money. If hiring people is costly and encumbered in government regulations, then any company is going to look for ways of getting the job done without hiring someone. Also an interesting insight into the Warren Buffet tax issue. Seems he does what many business owners do, pay themselves as little salary as possible, hence little personal income tax. Yet, left out of that fact is the matter of taxes his business pays on its earnings. So in effect, while he personally may not pay much personal income tax his organization pays substantial amounts.
So in summary, my only critique is the lack of specifics. It's hard to debate without having specifics. In general, I can relate to the argument.
