deadlock part 2.....

Well - time to agree on the budget........

I think we'll see another deadlock (and the market will respond as it always has).

Anyone else here have an opinion?

As we get closer to the 2012 election - I see no reason for anyone to agree on anything.

The President needs to look strong (i.e. - prevail with his position). Meanwhile, the GOP would just assume the president look like (fecal matter).

Funny thing is - if I were President - I'd work something out --- it's not like the US will support some who is left of him, politically.

(It shouldn't be about politics - and I'd prefer the president to be more principled than that).

Unfortunately everthing is about politics these days. I have little doubt that the Republican candidate will unseat Obama, but I also have little hope that anything will chamge after that happens. It seems like left or right they all push the same agenda.

chickaree, so long as we keep putting the same old political animals in charge, it won't change. Big money, big power and big greed.

Politicians should be compensated the same as our military. Maybe that way they would go in, get the job done, and get out without some big fat paycheck and life long pension. They get nothing done because they don't work for us, they work for their own self interests (in most cases imo)

Peel your eyes before the 2012 election, we need to know who we are electing and hold those elected to the platform they ran on.
