Police: 11-Year-Old Massachusetts Girl Hit, Dragged by Truck Driven by Illegal Immigrant
An 11-year-old Massachusetts girl was hit and dragged by a truck driven by an illegal immigrant, authorities said.
Police say the suspect, 35-year-old Wanderson DaSilva-Neto, struck the sixth-grader as she rode her bike Wednesday as he pulled out of his driveway at his home in Ipswich, MyFoxBoston.com reports.
DaSilva-Neto, who doesn't have a license, is in the country illegally and has an outstanding warrant for his deportation to Brazil, according to the website.
The girl, identified as Kendra Williams, of Ipswich, Mass., was reportedly riding
Compared to how many are hit each day by US citizens? Yes, he did wrong, and he's breaking the law just being here, but what's your point RT?

If it had been my thread the point would be that if we had a controled border and a government that enforced the law instead of suing AZ and allowing sanctuary cities this would not have happened because he would not have been in the country.

But Neptune...your missing the point....the Americans are bad people ...the illegals are good just here for a job.
How realistic is it that we could have a leak-proof border? China built a big-ass wall and look where that got them...invaded anyway and playing catch-up centuries later (not that many other countries who didn't build walls aren't also, but China had the population and resources to have been a much bigger player if they hadn't isolated themselves).
Our strength is in our diversity, our country built by immigrants; instead of focusing on keeping illegals out (which is unrealistic and expensive to boot), we should be making work visas easier to obtain so we can track everyone here working, collect taxes on their employment, and use their creativity, ingenuity, and willingness to work (because those willing to come here illegally to work are usually more desperate, and therefore more motivated) to improve our country. But that's just my opinion.

rofllol Yeah, that was it, how silly of me.

And they hate us for our freedom...oops, I think that's the muslims. It's so hard to keep RT's outrages straight.

LOL. The great wall of China! Really, you want to go there? Most on the right are fine with diversity, fine with visas fine with some path to citizenship for those already here. Just not until we control our borders.
Leak proof no, effective yes. Once the borders are controlled everything is possible. Do you think that is not realistic?
Also it is not just the borders as Grady said here.
Grady wrote: Yes there is room for compromise once the borders are secure, and I don’t just mean the physical line between the US and Mexico or Canada. It’s something like 40% of illegals didn’t walk, swim, crawl, or drive across an unsecured border crossing. They came in with a legal reason to be here, then simply overstayed their visas. So securing the border means addressing that population as well.
I absolutely agree NC....unless, and until, we secure our borders the ranting and raving about the illegals already here is an exercise in futility. I understand that this country is huge, and knowing who is here illegally and who is not is difficult....made more difficult because we have not really kept track of those coming here to work, or go to school and followed up on their status. laziness? maybe, inept government oversight? probably. Neither one of the political parties have wanted to tackle the problem of illegals, that can has been kicked down the road for decades.
I don't think that Arizona's solutions are the answer (and other states as well) they are dealing with the symptom of the problem, too many illegals, not the problem itself, our borders are like swiss cheese, and our record keeping sucks.. Like you said, once we secure our borders, and put a program in place to keep track of those who come here to work and study, then we can work on the problem of those already here. Right now, for every 10 illegals a state like AZ identifies and deports, 50 more have come in. What does that solve? All AZ is doing is moving some of the problem to other states. This is a national problem and it requires a national solution.
OMG, is hell freezing over. There is not a single item in your post that I take exception to.
