The Tea Party has a defined objective, what is the objective here?

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

What does it all mean?

"We're here for different reasons," said Vincent, whose father is also unemployed and recently went through a home foreclosure. "But at the end of the day, it all boils down to one thing, and that's accountability. We want accountability for the connection between Wall Street and the politicians."

"Something has to change," he told CNN. "We're out here because we're tired of what's been going on."

Giles Clarke, a 46-year-old freelance photographer and father of two, echoes Vincent's call for greater accountability.

"People have simply had enough," Clarke said. "We're living in an age where the inequality between high-end Wall Street and the (rest of us) is simply a gap that has become too big. Millions of people have lost their jobs. Millions of people have lost their homes."

There's been, Clarke said, "way too much cloak-and-dagger activity within the corridors of Wall Street" in recent years. "This is about raising awareness and a change of political discourse."

I was only a matter of time before the little guy got fed up with the spoils being divided between the wealthy and the corporations with Wall Street acting like there is no recession, it's just a money game to them. Real people mean nothing. When people are mad, and hurting, and yet the government and the political parties spend their time on fixing the problems that the corporations, and the banks, and the wealthiest Americans face (Oh MY God.....we can't tax the wealthy or the corps or banks any more) is it really any surprise that these people are taking to the streets in protest? Everything out of the politicians mouths seems to be how can we fix wall street, or the auto industry, or give oil companies more leases, or bail out a bank or two, and do all this without ever, ever raising taxes on the wealthy, or the corps. These are not stupid protesters, they know where the money to run this country is going to come from.....them, those who can least afford it.

I engaged these protesters at the City Park today. They smelled, were unshaven, college drop outs and were all under 25. They don't know squat about government, banking, or the rich - they were parrots either for a fascist or socialist organization.

When the middle age, former middle class coupled with elderly and retired show up on the capitols across America....then we will have government leadership shaking in their boots. Until then, we are all just keyboard political hacks - including myself - getting whacked by special interests.

Give this protest time RT.....these smelly, unshaven college dropouts (of course you know this for a fact) have started something, and it may grow with time into something neither political party will be able to ignore.

I don't see them as parrots at all....they are angry, they are hurting, they don't intend to sit quietly by while this country squanders their future with their pandering to "wall street"......which for them is anyone with lots of money, something they neither have, nor see any chance of getting anytime soon with unemployment high, and money that should go to creating jobs going to the wealthy and the corps who so far have shown no indication they intend to re-invest it back into the American economy. If anything they will take all those perks our government gives them and invest overseas. And those protesting today, will still have nothing. Nor will the rest of us.

I don't disagree with you...but beware, if their brand of protest spreads....you would be considered rich. These types of protesters want to engage in civil disobedience and be applauded for their efforts. I would rather see middle age and elderly show up - just like the Tea Party participants - that really makes the government leadership nervous.
