But with a new GOP-controlled state Legislature and a Republican governor in place in Lansing, a move is afoot to make Michigan the 23rd state in the nation to adopt legislation that would prohibit unions and employers from regulating collection of union dues or requiring employees to join a union if their workplace is organized.

Yep. it's about time people actually had a choice in how they work. Union shops are just as bad as any social program, it comes at the expense of individual freedom. Thank, I'll take freedom and the responsibility for myself that comes with it.
It's a rare time in American and even more so in the Motor City, the Lions are 4-0, the Tigers are in the playoffs and they look good, and now there is evidence that the population is finally broke enough to stand up to the unions. I sure hope that the few folks who still live in the rust belt take notice of this and put themselves back to work by voting for conservatives who understand how to make their communities business friendly again!
