Steve Jobs: Soak The Rich?

06 Oct 2011 07:24 #1 by FredHayek
Since Steve Jobs revolutinized the industry and created thousands of jobs, would the Left still think he deserved to have his income taxed at a 50% rate?

And should he be allowed to give to his heirs most of his wealth, or would you prefer the goverment get most of it?

Sidebar: I wonder how much Apple stock he still owned and would the heirs have to sell most of it to pay the tax man. And will that help to depress the stock price.

Thomas Sowell: There are no solutions, just trade-offs.

I would bet that Steve Jobs had the best tax lawyers in the country and his estate is set up where this is of no concern.

Steve Jobs had the good sense to surround himself with brilliant minds, such as Al Gore.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

Steve Jobs, Gates, Buffet, etc. etc. have created more jobs than Obama could ever dream of. But all Obama talks about is taking more money from people like the above, and letting government "invest" it.

Jobs: I created 1,000's of jobs & changed America
Obama: Screw you, pay me.
Bill Gates: We developed software that increased everyone's productivity.
Obama: Screw you, pay me.
Halliburton: We developed drilling technology which has opened up old gas and oil fields, lowering domestic oil prices and creating jobs.
Obama: Screw you, pay me even more.
Solyandra: We developed technology that couldn't compete with China.
Obama: Let me write you a check.
