Are Colorado medical marijuana facilities far behind?
A couple things to consider, all the people who will be unemployed and how many people will be going to jail.
And who is prompting this? Call me cynical, but for years they have allowed them to exist, 15 years in Cali, why shut them down now? Big liquor? Big Pharma? Creating more jobs for federal law enforcement?
It would seem we have more pressing concerns for the DOJ than shutting down caregivers.
And unintended consequences? Local legal grow sites will be closed down and Mexico will start running even more drugs north to America.

From the stories on the web, it doesn't appear they are targeting ALL dispensaries. Just a handful that might be violating federal drug and money-laundering laws. I'd like to see more busts for growers that are not taking the proper Best Management Practices for disposal of the byproducts from operations. There a lot of chemicals that are just being dumped on the land or into the sewer systems.
Agree that it should be legalized and take the power away from those that exploit it (Cartels, gangs and other illegal grow and sell operations).
