I think I'll make a few stops around town at the local fast food restaurants, grocery stores, and big box retailers and collect some job applications. Rather than waste those companies resources I'll take a single application from each business and help to improve the economy by stopping at a local copy shop and pay for a few hundred copies out of my own pocket. Then I'll pay a visit to the Occupy Denver protest and hand out a few pieces of paper, maybe a few of them will take the hint and GET A JOB OR TWO INSTEAD OF LEACHING OFF OF WELFARE, FOOD STAMPS, AND HANDOUTS. It's time for this disorganized pack of self entitled brats to get off their butts and take responsibility for themselves instead of expecting the Gubment and charity to carry them through life!

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

Yeah, that was pretty judgmental.

What a sweet generalization... Funny, but many of the people I saw interviewed in the protest, were using vacation time, or splitting their shifts at the jobs THEY ALREADY HAVE to be there to support the protest. But, of course, it wouldn't occur to you that all of them are not unemployed, or not retired, or not living off of food stamps, welfare and handouts. Some of them are probably people who got screwed by their banks, mortgage companies, and former employers...

Nah... You're probably right.... NOT.

So it's the responsibility of the Gubment and society to make an individual successful? Want more? Work harder! Rise above the many and demonstrate that you have unique skills, rare abilities, and a passion to perform. Workers that show up for entry level jobs and complain about meeting minimal performance standards, low wages, and a lack of benefits are doomed to remain in those positions or become unemployed.

The economy is worse than it has been in a long time and the jobs that are available are mostly not the jobs most young Americans want; the reality is that people need to take the jobs that are available and make the best of it or sit around waiting for the Gubment to take care of them. Those who sit around waiting for the solution to fall out of the sky on them are welcome to do so, the people with any sense will go find jobs and do what it takes to survive.

I now return you to the happy land where unicorns prance and whirled peas is the standard.

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

Its a shame that people don't realize what's been taken from them. Propaganda is a powerful tool.

My uncle visited the Occupy Portland site and it was so dirty he wanted a full set of shots after leaving, Tetanus, etc.

In the wars of previous centuries, more people would die in encampments than in battle, maybe these nuevo-hippies will spread disease to each other and flu season is approaching.
