OWS, You’ve Made Your Point, Now Go Home

Every protest, including the Tea Party, has had it's fringe element. Boy were the liberals taken to task for criticizing the Tea Party for the actions of it's fringe members, but now they turn the tables and criticize the OWS protests for the actions of "some" occupiers.......

This protest isn't going away anytime soon.

I have some sympathy for the OWS people, but I think they do need to do a better job policing their own.

It might be the nature of a group of anarchists but they need to be more disciplined and focused.

So the top 1%, those earning in excess of $250,000/yr are all evil, greedy corporate heads. Except that in reality many doctors, lawyers, architects, engineers, politicians, university professors, government employees, entertainers, athletes, etc. earn that much and aren't corporation or banking higher ups. Help me to understand how changing a few words doesn't make it redistribution of wealth? If someone chrome plates a turd, it is just a shiny turd.

Teacher Takes Class To Occupy Denver Rally

DENVER -- A teacher who took her students to see Occupy Denver said she brought her class to see what was happening.
"We came to observe," said teacher Celia Bard when questioned by a blogger in a video posted on YouTube.

My question is-- Did they get permissions slips from the parents?

I thin you could find out using this information...

"We came to observe," said teacher Celia Bard when questioned by a blogger in a video posted on YouTube.
Bard and another teacher from St Mary's Academy in Denver took 10 students on a field trip Friday, explained Academy President Deirdre Cryor.

Interesting that Saint Mary's Acadamy would take people down to the Denver sit-in.

In one way, it is a great example of history and civil disobedience, on the other hand, I hope the kids are up to date on their HPV and Hepatitis shots.

Members of Congress disclose their assets and liabilities in broad ranges. The estimated net worth is the middle of that range, as reported on their 2010 disclosure forms. Net worth does not include primary residence or other personal property.
