Ten Myths Conservatives Believe About Progressives
1. Liberals hate America.
Obama does apoligize a lot for America's past.
2. Liberals want to leave us defenseless in the face of evildoers around the world.
Some of the biggest military cuts came under Carter(D) & Clinton(D)
3. Liberals hate the free market.
Carter did deregulate a lot, but Obama's people have wrote tons of new regulations, and the OWS people are pushing for curbs on the free market.
4. Liberals hate our troops.
It wasn't conservatives who spit on returning Vietnam vets or denied ROTC access to college campuses.
5. Liberals are a bunch of elitists who hate decent working- and middle-class Americans.
Maybe hate is too strong of word, but they do look down on anyone who doesn't agree with them.
6. Liberals are against "family values."
Against traditional family values.
7. Liberals want to raise our taxes.
Clinton(D) raised income tax rates and liberals (Obama) think they need to be restored
8. Liberls are Godless—and therefore, amoral.
Most of the outspoken athiests tend to be "D"
9. Liberals don't believe in personal responsibility.
"D"'s are more likely to believe in bailing out people who have made mistakes with goverment funds.
10. Liberals are wimps. Of course.
Yes I believe all those things are true about liberals. The economy we have today is in large part- a result of a liberal congress and a liberal president. I have no doudt about that in my mind.
So liberals don't want to raise taxes? Huh. They do believe in personal responsibility? If that's the case they would not look to government for all the answers would they?
PS- Carter had the internet revolution during his watch- the greatest jump in productivity since the invention of electricity. It was not his policies that did it - it was the innovation of the internets! Thank you Al Gore!

Indeed - after the Republican controlled Congress sent him a budget to sign that allowed for that to take place. Maybe Obama should take the hint and sign the budget the current Republicans are presenting him if he wishes to enjoy the same success that Clinton did.
Indeed, maybe the Republican controlled Congress should jus' keep doin' what they're doin' so the public can see that they haven't got a single idea that wasn't implanted by Grover Norquist, and they aren't interested in what's best for the country, as long as they can say 'No' to everything.
