2012 RNC Logo Shows Elephant Trampling U.S. Flag

TAMPA, Fla. – The Committee on Arrangements (COA) for the 2012 Republican National Convention today unveiled the official convention logo on Phase One of its website. The emblem’s design pays tribute to the Tampa Bay area as host of the 2012 Republican National Convention and recognizes the nation by incorporating the flag.

(Well, technically, it's not the U.S. flag, since it only has 3 stars.)

(The three stars in the flag are supposed to symbolize equality, justice and opportunity, but I think it's some sort of secret code with a secret meaning)

Back in WWII, the Japanese would paint big American flags in their central squares so thousands of people could "stomp" on America.

I wonder what US bomber crews thought when they saw these US banners in the middle of town. Maybe don't bomb here? American POW's are here?
