I don't think someone can be made or broken by one opinion or statement. Humans are much more complicated than that. I think decisions need to be made on OVERALL characteristics, actions, deeds, etc over the years, not one bad debate.

So how do you propose to send back 12 million illegals? You have a million extra cops around that I don't know about? And since the Feds won't let the states do that, they will be staying and in our schools. Until the federal government changes that what can the states do?

Perry's support faded away because of his illegal immigration policy. After that came to light, he was history.

You're right, it's only a felony if WE try to go into MEXICO illegally.

What the heck, let 'em all stay. 14 million more Democrat voters won't be a problem.

Then President Moonbeam can implement California style social reform nationally. They won't be able to raise taxes high enough to cover everything. All the jobs will dry up and they will all have to go back home.

Maybe they will take all the drug smugglers and gang bangers that came in illegally with them.
