seriously, what the hell happened? He seems to be/say all the things that today's GOP wants to see/hear. I don't understand why he fell off the table. can anyone explain it?

Because the more he talks, the more he shows he's an idiot.

I know among my rabid conservative friends, they did not like his version of the Dream Act.
And the Paulbots have shown that Gov. Perry liked to spend money. Not exactly the fiscal conservative he claims to be.

they ALL spend money no matter what they say, really....so everyone jumps on Cain's wagon? he has no record at all. Do you think his pro-life pro-choice dual stance will hurt him with the base?
I don't think Cain had any intentions of actually running, just good publicity for his motivational business and books. I think this has caught him off guard a bit.

Interesting theory. Supposedly Obama was only testing the waters in 2007 but once he won Iowa, he decided to go for it. Cain not being a politician makes him quite popular with the TEA Party, will the rest of America feel the same way? Congress has one of their lowest approval rates. and Cain doesn't have a record in office that people can attack.

There have been a couple of non-politicians who ran for President in this century, Herbert Hoover and Dwight Eisenhower and at least one of those had a good record.

“If you say that we should not educate children who have come into our state for no other reason than they have been brought there by no fault of their own, I don’t think you have a heart.”
When he said that at the Florida debate is when Perry lost my support.

Why would that lose your support? What do you think we should do with them?
