Foodstamp/EBT Scam or Smart Business Promotion?

It is just a promotion and the stamps don't go for the booze/ciggies. Food stamps are meant to be used as money to buy food, and they are in this case. Do we really need another restriction because someone did legal marketing. Someone smart in marketing might figure out that those that like booze and cigs are also more likely to be on food stamps (maybe true).

Don't worry though, once everything is tracked in just a couple years, you wont be able to buy cigs, booze or cable TV, if you are also on food stamps. That's just like buying a new car and letting your neighbors pay for your kids education, when in reality you are getting your neighbor to buy your new car. Get it. You will be letting your license be scanned or you will be brewing your own, but then they are going to scan your lic for the brewing supplies and EVERYTHING, so no secrets, it's all gonna be out there and you will be judged on your purchases. Your purchases will be reviewed when you apply for a job. This is the future.

Nothing to see here, move on, or change the law. Don't be down on the business owner working within the law who understands the market he is working in. If he doesn't do well, he can't make jobs for those that need them and can't make their own. He is helping people on all levels, with cigs, with booze, with food and with jobs. What is the problem here?

I'm not passing judgement either way, just asking the question. BTW, I got a killer deal on lead foil - works much better as a hat liner than tinfoil, let me know if you want the skinny on where I bought it.
