“My fellow Americans. I know that many of you are suffering. And I know that many of you look around and see a country where not all things appear to be equal. Well, guess what? They aren’t. They never have been, and I can assure you, as long as liberty and freedom remain supreme, they never will be. Let’s be honest – looking for equality is a democracy is like looking for love in a wh0re house. You might see something that comes close, but in the end, that dog don’t hunt.
No, my fellow Americans, I believe our best hope for a true recovery will come not from a temptation to make all things more equal, but rather, to make all things more possible."
I wouldn't normally look to an actor like Mike Row to make this point but IMHO he has it exactly right. Good things come to those who work hard, take calculated risks, and don't stop trying when their attempts fail, rather they learn from previous mistakes and don't make them again.
Waiting around for the US Government to fix your problems while vacuuming up as many entitlements as you can solves nothing. Being bitter about the US Government not providing for your every want and need is ignorant.
I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.
"Any man who thinks he can be happy and prosperous by letting the Government take care of him; better take a closer look at the American Indian." - Henry Ford
Corruptissima re publica plurimae leges; When the Republic is at its most corrupt the laws are most numerous. - Publius Cornelius Tacitus
Row nailed it...you can build robots to be equal in every way but you can't do that with flawed humans. Teachers now try to do it by not rewarding the best students, field day is a joke, and then they grow up to find that the best achievers get penalized the most. What is the incentive to be the best anymore? I guess that's the point of this new world order that's being forced on us all.
The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.
