Yet Cain keeps winning over real voters.
So what is it about Herman Cain?
That’s the question I set about to answer this week. And I found five real voters to confide their own personal reasons for supporting Herman Cain.

Why Herman Cain Has The Potential To...Win

Pretending that Romney is the real frontrunner, the pundits and the press contend that the 2012 GOP presidential contest will be a re-run of the GOP 2008 race: the establishmentarian who is next in line will win. This is a prejudice masquerading as an insight.

Yes, that’s been the Republican pattern, arguably, since 1968. And Romney may well win the nomination: he’s got mountains of money from donors, an impressive team in key primary states, a near-flawless performance in debates and an array of White House-quality policy advisers.

Good article TPP. Thanks for the link.

Viking should have been a more active participant of the Tea Party meetings, and he would see what this article is talking about.

Most people are tired of this next-in-line GOP mentality. That brought us the likes of John McCain and being the lesser of two evils was not enough to win when he needed to.

Herman Cain is not next in line, or successor to the candidacy, just one more good reason to back him, in order to make some huge changes in Washington.

Another one for TPP. Perry is spending another $20 million on the border including $5 million on real time cameras. Finally someone is doing something about it!

Sounds like a good political move, but does Texas really have the money to do that?

It costs them probably 10 times that amount to keep letting them in since Obama won't do anything about it. All they do is tell you that if they make it here you can't send them back without the Government's permission.

GREAT POINT, archer.
5 mil. on real time cameras, so somebody can sit in an office and watch them fly over the wall in 18 seconds, by the time that person gets the location, radios the agents, and agents respond to that same spot, those folks are half way to CO.
Besides we all know that if any of the southern border states wants something done about the border it's in their laps, the Feds, are doing THEIR JOB, (and with this bunch in there nothing ever would) Looks like Texas, is following in the footsteps of AZ. and IMO, Ca. will follow, but they're broke so...

Explain exactly what it is that you like about Cain other than he is not a politician. It can't be his 999 or 909 with a lot of stuff thrown in because it is a failure. Can't be his foreign experience. Can't be his great speaking of saying he would electrocute illegals and ticking off the Latino voters or his telling African Americans that they are brainwashed drones, and ticking them off. He has no money to compete with Obama and when he does he makes a cigarrette commercial that everyone is laughing at and making jokes about. He never created a million jobs like Perry. He has never done anything to fight illegal immigration. So WHAT exactly is it that you are voting for? Just curious. What is he running on? Hope and Change again?

And another question no one is asking is this. According to his plan the less you buy, the less you pay. That sure won't boost the economy. And if you buy used instead of new, you won't have to pay taxes. So what does that do to the manufacturing industry when you are telling Americans to stop buying new products if you want to not pay taxes? People stop buying new cars and new appliances then what? Anyone?

Cain's Tax Delinquency
Herman Cain, the businessman GOP presidential candidate who’s been surging in the polls with his 9-9-9 tax plan, lapsed in his own tax payments in 2006—then fought paying them.

According to court documents obtained by The Beast, Cain and his wife, Gloria, were served in February 2008 with a tax lien totaling $8,558.46 for unpaid income taxes and penalty due for the 2006 calendar year.

Gordon said Cain had filed with the IRS and won a six-month reprieve in paying his 2006 federal taxes as he was undergoing his treatment for stage four lymphoma and believed that filing should also have bought him time with the state of Georgia. “In Georgia, a taxpayer can submit a copy of his federal extension to request an extension of state income taxes,” Gordon said.

But instead, the state sent a notice of overdue taxes in October 2007, and then proceeded with the tax lien four months later, he said.

Cain’s accountant fought the Georgia Department of Revenue on behalf of his client well into 2008 and the two sides finally settled the matter in November 2008. A court formally withdrew the state tax lien on Dec. 8, 2008, court records show.

Yes, I can see why Herb is so anti-tax. It's so difficult to run for national office when you have tax-liens in your history.
