"Please tell me which one of these below are you voting for?"

I vote for Obama because he promise to give me lots of free stuff! :) And tax all those big bad evil millionaires. Obama is very good man. Free stuff is good. LOL Thank you.

If you want to be, press one. If you want not to be, press 2

Republicans are red, democrats are blue, neither of them, gives a flip about you.

But what people don't get is NOTHING IS FREE!! Look at the debt we are leaving our kids now! And look at the price of everything that has gone up! People don't even look at that because it has gone up slow enough and is hidden costs to them.

Here is ther logic. Look Obama just gave me $100 in free stuff. Everything else has gone up $200 but who cares, I got $100 in free stuff! I am ahead and Obama is my savior!! :bash :bash

And they let them vote!

I just pulled the receipts. Ranges $2.43, $2.58, $2.61... so while prices were on the rise, they original figure you have up there is still inaccurate. So while not a dollar under, its still under what you have posted. (Kind of hard to tell me I'm wrong now with the receipts in hand isn't it?)

Guess you shopped at the wrong places. Gas Buddy tracks the national average daily. This is the national average. And the national average was $1.85 the day he took office. That is a fact. Your reciepts don't trump the national average. I could have gotten receipts in Cali at that time around $3 or more and that doesn't mean anything.

The key word there being "average"... if you could have gotten gas for $3 in California and based on the numbers I've posted, it doesn't seem that $1.85 is an accurate "average" figure. To come up with that average, other states would have had to have been higher than $3 while others lower than $1.20. (I suppose that's possible... but still seems an odd fluctuation.)

Just saying that figure somehow doesn't look correct and thus I'd have to question the accuracy of the rest of the numbers. Can't stand Obama, didn't vote for him the first time and damn sure won't the second, but when something doesn't appear correct, I have to question it. Personally I feel to "question" is something everyone should attempt to do every now and then. Makes for better final decision making.

I don't have receipts,but I KNOW for a fact that gas was 1.65- 1.85 in 2004.....we traveled from Atlanta,Ga across the country in a
truck......filling up thru Ga. Tenn. Missouri,Kansas as we made our way back to Colorado.....THAT WAS IN 2004.....I remember vividly
that back in 2008,2009 I was reflected that our trip and the 18wheeler carrying our belongings would have cost a TON MORE MONEY,
and I was thankful that we moved when we did. I believe you need to RECHECK those figures, because gas was a whole lot more in
2009 than 2004......and not just a dime or two more. :Whistle

I can appreciate that. And I didn't mean to come across as attacking. But Cali was and is the highest by far do to all the regulations and different kinds of fuels they need to refine.
