that back in 2008,2009 I was reflected that our trip and the 18wheeler carrying our belongings would have cost a TON MORE MONEY,
and I was thankful that we moved when we did. I believe you need to RECHECK those figures, because gas was a whole lot more in
2009 than 2004......and not just a dime or two more. :Whistle
No need to check it is true. Stories all over about it. Here is one from CNN And it was $1.61 average the end of 2008.

I dont recall the righties blaming Bush for that. So whats the point here?
You mean when the Middle East drove oil up to over $140 per barrel? (another reason we need Perry in the White House, to get us off dependence from the Middle East). And now it is $80 per barrel. That is 4/7 the price. So according to that our gas prices sould be at about $2.30 per gallon. Why over a dollar higher? REGULATIONS and attacks on the oil industry. THANK YOU OBAMA!! :bash :bash
Oh yeah...how could I forget that those benevolent oil companies really have our best interests at heart and would immediately lower gas prices if we would only elect a Republican.
:Koolaid: :rofl
Archer, I believe he's saying that Republicans, (or at least Perry), are opting for domestic oil producers rather than continuing business in the Middle East. Personally I think that's a good idea, we can produce our own, so why haven't we?
For sure gas prices have risen, but again I think that site has inaccurate figures. I'm just not seeing how between Crow Hill and Denver there could be an $.80 difference, during the time of January 2009. $.10, maybe even $.20 but something really isn't adding up there.
I would love to answer that badger...later. Im posting on the road on a cell phone. Its too hard to cite sources and I would be beat up pretty badly if I posted anything without a source.

It is on the CNN link and chart too. And many others online if you want to see them.

Perfect exapmle. We send money to Bazil to drill offshore there then we buy it from them. HUH? What kind of logic is that to anyone except an environmentalist?

Which is total bullsh**, just more examples of conservative lies. The US Export-Import Bank provided financing to Brazil to purchase US MADE drilling equipment which created more jobs in the US for US workers. The Export-Import bank does not receive taxpayer funding but actually turns a profit as well as creating JOBS in the US.
Why do you hate jobs in the US so much?
