World to hit 7 billion mark on Oct 31st

It is estimated the world population will reach the 7 billion mark sometime on the 31st of this month. Are we just a parasite about to destroy our host, or can something be done to control these numbers?

About half the pop could be removed and let things heal.

Has happened many times over the history of the planet.

I've often thought of mankind as a sort of cancer spreading on the host (Earth).

Not sure where I heard it, and haven't researched it to see if its a true statement, but I'd heard at one time China had a 2 child limit per family in an attempt to control population.

So its just a thought, but start with tax allowances only offered yearly to only the first two children born and nothing thereafter. Might encourage safer sex practices when people know they're not going to get any extra aid for additional "units".. (George Carlin token)

I believe that was One child and girl children were aborted in staggering numbers because males were higher thought of. Now China has a real shortfall of women to marry because of the policy.

Before we come up with a plan, there is one thing that needs to be done, change the filter on the gene pool. Just kidding. If we did that where would we find the Liberals to pick on?
