The Most Homophobic Woman in America was created by CinnamonGirl
"There are a few homosexual doctors treating kids, there are far more nurses, LPNs, technicians and other health care workers in these lifestyles so you may want to consider writing a letter that you file with your pediatrician that should your child ever be hospitalized, you do not want your child to be treated or cared for by one of these members of the Children's Hospital gay employees group except in the case of an emergency situation."

All I can say to that is "wow"... I'm always surprised by the new depths of disappointment I can find with people, but I'm definitely disappointed by people like this. I call it bigotry, and that's really what it is. It concerns me most is that this type of bigotry is based upon moral beliefs, like many forms of bigotry have been in the past, and it's a hard one to break.

As a sometimes-self-identified Republican, I'm also more than a little ashamed that figures like this take their religious persecution of large swaths of people to the public. I want a shirt that says "I'd be a Republican, in only they didn't hate those who are different."

I don't like sweeping generalizations. I am a conservative and I do not consider myself to hate those who are different. That is a generalization as well.

What amazes me about this woman is she expects these nurses to save her child in an emergency only.

We live in America to me that means tolerance and acceptance of everyone. What that means to me is if you want to be religious, muslim, homosexual, heterosexual, african american, Irish, Italian, atheist or whatever you have the right to be FREE!!!!! I am not going to put a label on Republicans or Democrats, homosexual. That is not fair. Everyone has a free will and to say that one huge group of people all think alike is stupid. And now you have a huge group in the OWS people that have groups like unions trying to claim them as their own. OWS is going to have the same problem tea partiers had and when they try to say that these groups don't speak for them what is their excuse for labeling tea partiers? Labels are what is killing everything. Not everyone follows the republicans or democrats blindly so STOP with the generalizations!

Good we all agree! Glad we straightened that out. Anyone who thinks a joke means you hate people who are different has serious issues and don't get out in the real world much! I actually have a couple Muslim friends. I will forward this onto them and I guarantee they will laugh their arses off!

They'll laugh their arses off about homophobia? That's a shame. Prejudice and hatred is not restricted to any single group.

You are right! Shut down ALL comedy clubs immediately!! No more jokes!!! Sign a law!! All jokes are about someone! You guys really need to buy a clue! I will bet NONE of you people who are whining have ever been to a comedy club and if you have, if you didn't get up and walk out at the first joke about a race or sexual orientation or gender or religion, then you are TOTAL HYPOCRITES!! That would have been within about the first 5 minutes of ANY comedy routine. Do they hate all the races and people they joke about ? Of course not!! In your sheltered little world, yes. WOW! Seriously guys, are you out protesting the comedy channels? There are a lot of racist and sexual jokes on there. They must all hate everyone too? :bash :bash :bash
