Troops are leaving Iraq and need jobs; Medics and Medical officers could take advantage of this situation. Other troops could take jobs in town and in the fields on rigs. The Docs could get a good start on a civilian career.
IMHO the Navy vets have a distinct advantage in this scenario. The Engineering rates could make a good living keeping engines running, pipes and pumps working, and the power on. Seems to me that Boatswain's and Hull Techs would be naturals for working on drilling rigs.
When work is over I can guarantee you that this crowd knows how to play hard and they can hold their own! That might be where the Shore Patrol and Military Police would come in, I of course have never had any negative interaction with those organizations...
The circle of profit might begin and end back at the medical facility, that combination of personnel is guaranteed to crack a few skulls and break a few bones at work and outside of the job too.
