WASHINGTON (AP) -- Thousands of Japanese-Americans who fought in the fiercest battles of World War II and became some of the most decorated soldiers in U.S. history were given an overdue thank-you from their country Wednesday when Congress awarded them its highest civilian honor.
Why are they spending time on this instead of fixing what's broke?!?!?!?
Oh, wait. That was a reflex message from other topics.
Seriously, This is a good thing. Those soldiers put it all on the line for us, and I appreciate their service. Special recognition is due because of the interrment camps.
