Romney/Rice in 2012?

Romney’s inner circle is about to focus on finding a running mate who would add value without danger. It so happens that one is emerging - this individual spent a decade in the spotlight without a hint of scandal, provides foreign policy expertise as well as a graceful, fluid way of addressing domestic issues, especially education. She has led public and private bureaucracies, shattered glass ceilings of both race and gender during her rise, and her personal biography is as inspirational as Obama’s. Her name is Condoleeza Rice, and this is hardly the last time you will hear the suggestion.

Don't worry... if it turns out to be Romney/Rice... you'll still have a conservative black to trash. That should be worth something to the left. A present from the GOP to you.

If I trash them it will be because they are ignorant conservative nincompoops like Cain...Not because they are black.

There's always the black guy that runs the Republican National Party.

Oh wait, the Republicans got rid of him, didn't they? He was just there for show ("We like blacks, too!") after Obama got elected.

"Pro-family" interest groups won't approve of Rice. She has some un-discussed issues
(Piers Morgan tried to bring it up this year - and failed). (not a problem with me)

I'm been skimming No Higher Honor and agree with Rice's book title. As far as I'm concerned - that's as far as she should go. (she mentions Iran and North Korea as two of her "accomplishments" ---- huh????)

I'd rather NOT see Rice be VP.
