Republican Debate Tonight on CNBC

Perry is a non factor now. These debates are great for rooting out the gaffe masters...... Gingrich is rising as Perry falls.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

I don't think so. I am not a big Perry fan, but I think he was pretty good defending himself the next morning with a "aw shucks" common man demeanor that will appeal to a lot of voters tired of the cool, calculating, brilliant debator Obama who can talk but not accomplish.

And the cool, calculating, good debator might be one reason Romney just can't get over the hump.

People seem to be prefering real men like Cain over the robots.

With that logic, why have any debates?

Oh, I get you now. Whoever does the worse or makes the least sense is our next president!

And Obama a brilliant debator? I thought he always needs a teleprompter?

Just watch...Perry is trying to use comedy as a last ditch effort to excuse his bad performances. Gingrich is rising in the polls because he's been consistently good in the debates, and unlike Perry, he doesn't spend most of his time ripping on his opponents (that's what Obama is for). Perry looks anything but presidential...he looks like a desperate fool imo.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

This will probably get pulled pretty soon off youtube, but here are Perry's top 10 excuses...

[youtube:23k55ltr]
[/youtube:23k55ltr]

•10 “Actually there were 3 reasons I messed up last night 1) was the nerves and 2) was the headache and 3) uh, uh.”

•9 “I don’t know what you’re talking about I think things went well.”

•8 “I was up late last night watching ‘Dancing With the Stars’ “

•7 “I thought the debate was tonight”

•6 “Hey listen, you try concentrating with Mitt Romney smiling at you. That is one handsome dude!”

•5 “Uhhhh, El Nino”

•4 “I had a five-hour energy drink six hours before the debate.”

•3 “You know I really hoped it would get me on my favorite talk show but instead I ended up here.”

•2 “I wanted to help take the heat off my buddy Herman Cain.”

•1 ” I just learned Justin Beiber is my father.”

Like Newt Gingrich, I am not a fan of the current debate setup. Try to explain complex issues in 30 seconds. I prefer to look at the candidate's record and have been ignoring the debates.

Obama, when he is focused and prepared, is actually quite good in a one on one debate, but the man is easily distracted. (Squirrel!)
