What sexual harassment scandal? Cain surging in polls despite campaign setbacks

In spite of multiple sexual harassment claims, most U.S. polls have Herman Cain at the top of the Republican heap, but can he keep it going?
An AARP poll Friday night shows the former pizza boss over GOP rival Mitt Romney, 25 per cent to 22 per cent in Iowa.
In South Carolina, he edges the former Massachusetts governor 28 per cent to 27 per cent.

I actually thought you were making jokes with the last two posts but I see you are serious. But you posted two very liberal sources. Surging? Cain was over 30% as one time and the last two have him down to 17 and 18% and Newt in second on one of them. And Cain has dropped from 28% to 13% with Conservative women voters. That is PURGING not SURGING. And the debate last night will really hurt him. He will be down below 15% and maybe even 12% by next week. Newt has the momentum and made Cain look like a 3rd grader on foreign issues last night.

I used liberal sources to dispel any hint that I am only reading conservative news and opinions. The use of the word "surge" has more validity if his enemies use it.

Viking, why do you have a "Jones" for Cain? Does that make your guy, Perry, better? Are you afraid of Cain? Instead of dis'ing Cain, why don't you just extol the virtues of Perry? Your vitriol against Cain really makes me not want to even consider Perry.

Cain is leading with 25% according to an AARP poll.

That seems to mean that 75% want someone else.

Yep, it would seem. But you are not quite so unaware of how a pie is sliced.

(Man! I wish that the Democrats were vying for the Democratic nomination. Maybe then we would see a little more rational analysis than they are giving right now.)
