Debbie Wasserman Schultz Insist on Cain Disclosure

Colby Hall at Mediaite highlighted how Democratic Party Chairman Debbie Wasserman Schultz went on The Situation Room on CNN on Friday and trashed Herman Cain for using the word “princess” for Nancy Pelosi: “I thought it was a pretty callous, sexist throwaway line.” Then Wolf Blitzer allowed her to unload a wagon of talking points against the entire GOP field for 66 seconds. When he then asked if she believed Cain or his accusers, she insisted “I think Herman Cain needs to come clean and address them and say far more than he’s said already.”

Mediaite and CNN have short memories, since Wasserman Schultz embarrassed herself back in June by insisting Anthony Weiner didn’t have to share anything with the public…other than the bulge pictures he’d already posted on Twitter. Blitzer should have remembered — since she refused to offer a Weiner opinion on CNN, as Blitzer repeatedly asked for one....

Seems reasonable to me... It's about time Cain 'fess up to all the incidents instead of trickling them out one at a time, and threatening the victims while he's at it.

The story has led news broadcasts, made headlines in major papers and driven reporters to track the candidate’s every move.

Cain himself has been a constant media presence since the claims first surfaced, appearing frequently on Fox News, visiting late-night talk shows and calling in to radio hosts. As he takes advantage of its many platforms, he also criticizes the media for its interest in the controversy.

The attention has given Cain unrivaled exposure since Oct. 30, when the Politico website first broke the story.

In South Carolina, he edges the former Massachusetts governor 28 per cent to 27 per cent.

I actually thought you were making jokes with the last two posts but I see you are serious. But you posted two very liberal sources. Surging? Cain was over 30% as one time and the last two have him down to 17 and 18% and Newt in second ahead of Cain on one of them. And Cain has dropped from 28% to 13% with Conservative women voters. That is PURGING not SURGING. And the debate last night will really hurt him. He will be down below 15% and maybe even 12% by next week. Newt has the momentum and made Cain look like a 3rd grader on foreign issues last night.
