“I prayed and prayed and prayed,” the former Godfather’s Pizza CEO said of his decision to run for president. “I’m a man of faith, I had to do a lot of praying for this one, more praying than I’d ever done before in my life. And when I finally realized that it was God saying that this is what I needed to do, I was like Moses: ‘You’ve got the wrong man, Lord. Are you sure?’”
Cain’s religion came under closer examination last month as the candidate gained frontrunner status. North Atlanta’s Antioch Baptist Church North, where his family has deep roots, is considered theologically conservative while being politically liberal.
Viking, you are not serious. I know that you have enough intelligence to know that Cain was not saying that he is Moses, or even on par with Moses. You are trying very hard to misunderstand what Cain said. Is this how we want to participate in politics? By twisting and spinning? Disgust with this type of politics is what caused movements such as the Tea Party and the election results in 2010. And the elections of 2012 will continue the backlash against slippery political practices.

It is enlightening to hear that you make important decisions for our nation and world based upon such thoughtful consideration. That will make a better world for your children.
