McCain was the most moderate candidate in 2008 and what did that get us?
But I think Romney does give the Republicans the best chance to win in 2012. He knows how to run in a blue state, he has experience campaigning, and he has been vetted.
But should the best guy win or the best campaginer win? Obama had/has an awesome organization and was a great campaigner but a poor President.
Thomas Sowell: There are no solutions, just trade-offs.
"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther
The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill
I'm fine with Romney. He isn't my ideal candidate, but as I have previously said, my ideal one isn't running. I would much prefer Romney and a republican congress to anything. Beating Obama is the most critical thing. Our country can't survive another 4 yrs of someone who has absolutely no idea how to get our economy going again.
Too bad future generations aren't here to see all the great things we are spending their $$ on!!
