I guess there's not a TOS rule about this... but I would think that since this is a self-supporting forum, that you would in the most advertise with 285 Bound's list of sponsors... in the least not attempt to pimp your business for free. Certainly would make me think twice about doing business with you.

While I appreciate you looking out for the financial well-being of our community forum, this site was created for 2 purposes: to serve both the community members and the community businesses, in ways that they weren't before. There is absolutely NO requirement that every member with a business pay to advertise with us. While it would be lovely to have more Business Partners, so even more can be given back to the community, I personally take no offense, nor would I guess that any other poster does either, that Martin Ent Inc, and many other members who have their own businesses up here, have not become one of our Business Partners. His posting as an individual helps this board, as does everyone else being active, because businesses will only advertise where they think they will be seen, especially by active and involved community members. Using the Free Classifieds is a smart business move on his part, and I'd encourage everyone who posts here and has a business to use it - that's what it's there for!

My comments are not in regards to the quality of your work... pro or con. And the quality of your work has nothing to do with the fact that you are pimping your business for free... in disregards to the fact that this forum is partly financed by advertisers... paying advertising. I wouldn't care if you were the best in the world, that doesn't change the nature of your character, which I find a bit scuzzy. If you think you're looking good to the folks on the other sides of their monitors, maybe you better think again.

I find this judgement harsh; I certainly don't feel that way at all. I respect and appreciate his posts and would think that, irrespective of what personal opinions he expresses here, anyone who has used his services and liked what he did feel the same.
