Brings up the question. Can you legally contract someone to do something that is illegal (like hiding someone from the police)? It gets touchy if the contract was written before the law, but that is not the case here. When the contract was written, it was already illegal to hide people from the police.
Hiding people from the police always makes me think of Nazi Germany...when perhaps it would have been moral and right to hide people from the police, perhaps shameful to not do so.
