Republicans Jumping ship? was created by UNDER MODERATION
Crispy Nelson, head of the Crispy Nelson Band and former republican discusses why he’s disappointed with the Republican Party and switching his voter registration to vote for Ralph Nader in the Green Party Primary. Seems to me this is happening all over the place...I could just sit and watch this for hours lol

I jumped ship about 10 years ago. They weren't socially moderate enough for me, and as an atheist, I wasn't comfortable with them. I remember going round and round with my ex-wife, she trying to explain to me how I couldn't call myself a conservative if I didn't believe in a god and I was comfortable with alternate life styles. And I tried to explain to her that I didn't see how a belief in a god or worrying about someone's personal lifestyle choices effected national security or the economy. We eventually came to an impasse and she asked me to leave... which I did. I spent many years drifting around, a political wayfarer, from caucus to caucus looking for a place to surround myself with politically comfortable people. I finally settle for the Tang legal system which included four basic forms, namely, 'Lu' (criminal law), 'Ling' (institutional regulations), 'Ge' (administrative rules) and 'Shi' (formulas of official documents). Now I'm looking for a party who would like to model their future political activities around this model. It's always something.

I might jump ship too, but more to the Libertarian Party.
