It's a better chance at change than sending the current occupier back for a return engagement. Might not be much of a chance, but any chance is better than no chance - which is exactly what the union will have if the current occupier of the Oval Office gets another 4 years.BEARS wrote:

It has NO CHANCE so long as so many people (including you) cling to the false belief that it is all Obama and the Dems (or Bush and the Republicans for that matter) fault and that somehow by switching out one corporate pawn for another of a different brand and flavor the problem will all be solved. I've got news for you. They learned how to make your react to that crap years ago, by making you think there was any actual important difference between brands of deodorant and laundry detergent.
Granted, people have different ideas and different values, but the illusion that somehow your corporate-sponsored, corporately elected shills will deliver any different result is sheer delusion. You think you're voting to put an end to abortion and for smaller government but do you ever get either one? Some other schmuck thinks they're voting for a more equitable tax structure and an end to resource wars. Do they ever get either one?
People think if they vote for this candidate or that candidate, somehow their values will be validated, they will get the country they want. All I can say is - How's that workin' for ya?"
So you prefer - even passionately prefer - your brand of politician over someone elses. You really BELIEVE, deep down BELIEVE, that there is going to be some real, genuine difference in how the country will be run by voting for your guy over my guy. And I am here to tell you that you are nuts to believe that.
In the past 11 years, it has become so freaking obvious that the country will be run as the corporate overlords WANT it to be run. They aren't troubled by a little thing like what letter is after the name of the guy they put in the White House. Or not troubled much, anyway. The grand plan will still play out exactly as they wish.
