Congressman Blames Tea Party, NRA for Fast and Furious

Georgia Democratic Rep. Hank Johnson accused the tea party movement and the National Rifle Association of creating an “manufactured” controversy over Operation Fast and Furious Thursday.

Johnson’s comments came during an interview with The Daily Caller outside the House Judiciary Committee hearing room. Attorney General Eric Holder was testifying before the committee about Fast and Furious — a Justice Department program where Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives agents facilitated the sale of about 2,000 guns to Mexican drug cartels.

Rep. Johnson is not always aware of the statement he makes.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution ran an exclusive in which Johnson admitted to having hepatitis C. Reporter Bob Keefe writes:

The Lithonia Democrat's already-thin frame has shed 30 pounds in the past year. His speech is slower than ever, and he regularly gets lost in thought in the middle of a discussion. He is easily fatigued and often impatient and irritable ... To keep the disease in remission, Johnson is going through an experimental treatment that he said has been the worst part so far.

He's been simply a placeholder in the House for a number of years and most of his fellow politicians are sympathetic to his condition. Maybe you would like to consider the same option?

Outdoor... I'm not sure how you are confusing me with VL, but your wrong. And what's with the "very scared" icon? I didn't threaten you or anything. I simply posted some information about Rep. Johnson and his medical condition. He's not well at all and for a couple or more years now, he has constantly made obtuse statements and odd pronouncements. I was only pointing that out. And if you want to really know who I am (and I'm not VL, then why don't you PM me and we can talk. I'll be at the VFW breakfast tomorrow morning if your interested). And please, stop with the paranoia, "busted" what does that mean?

I'm going to ask Science Chic or one of the other moderators to PM you and confirm that I am not VL or any of his incarnations. If you think I've answered to VL anywhere, then your reading comprehension is horrible. Most users of 285 Bound and Pinecam know I am not VL. The Pinecam users that cross post over here are well aware that I am Dr. Fill on Pinecam. You're like the last girl to be invited to a party... you know nothing and you can't figure out why you are so lonely. I've PM Science Chic about your threats ("Still want to meet next week, have several that would love to meet you"). She is well aware of which users are who on 285 Bound and she can inform you privately or publicly to the fact that I'm not VL. I expect a public apology when you get your facts straight.
