Well... they certainly do allow divorces. You can have your original vows annulled and then proceed to be divorced since the church now sees the original sacrament as being null and void. In the Catholic church, the emphasis is on the sanctity of the sacrament... not on physical state sanctioned marriage. Yes, it's a weasel provision, but that's the facts. You're wrong.
