So it was unsurprising that after dodging that whole hurricane bullet yesterday scientists revealed- or at least writers who have a website with the word “science” in the name revealed- that there could be an epidemic of polar bear cannibals on account of global warming, which by now, we all know was caused by the global meltdown of the real estate market caused by greedy Republican bankers who are both greedy and Republican.

And there is only one thing worse than polar bear cannibals.

That is…drum-roll… all together now: greedyrepublicanbankers.

THis does explain a lot. It's good to know that behavior is intimately associated with climate change.

Can't remember where I read it, but saw a good piece about how global warming is much more linked to the end of the mini ice age in 1900 than man made causes. And the author also added that warming up of the Earth in the past has helped out people, opening more areas to cultivation, extending growing seasons, etc.
Sure, some people wll suffer, but a massive wealth transfer from developed nations to developing nations isn't the answer, especially since the developed nations have found themselves in severe debt trouble.
