The 1% income tripled, the 99% gained only 62%

Yea they do!

Those 1% didn't get to be the top 1% earners by sitting around and complaining about how good their neighbor has it.

But if that's how LJ and the liberals want to spend their time- then C'est la vie!

Here's a little something that I live by. Socialist like Lady Jazzer can't fathom this concept, it just doesn't register with their collective minds... "Every time you or I do better than someone else, anytime we excel over our neighbor or fellow employee… we do the same thing, on a tiny scale, that the 1% does. We make someone a bit more obsolete, or in the least, less valuable. It’s the system of the world."

Lady Jazzer thinks the world is suppose to do something for her, for free, just because she exists. Guess what. No one or no thing is worth that much to the universe. Those who want to slide through life that way may as well get use to the fact that they may get run over.

Striving is good.

Success is good.

Rigging the game, defrauding people with impunity, using your wealth to buy government favor, not so much.

Fine... but the far left want's to throw the baby out with the bath water. And the Constitution while they are at it. Like Lady Jazzer. People like that, I don't give any consideration to. They are my enemy. They are this countries enemy, living among us, wanting to destroy everything that is good about us, using what is bad as a blanket excuse to burn and raze our Republic.

Pointing out things that are wrong is not the same thing as wanting to destroy everything that is good.

For some people it is.

The only ones rigging the game are the members of the government. They are the only ones capable of passing the laws and regulations necessary to rig the game and are more than happy to do so in order to reap political profits by undertaking such efforts. Talk about rigging the game and defrauding people with impunity. There is no entity that does this better than our own federal government.

If they are doing "in order to reap political profits" that means they are not doing alone. Someone is paying, and we both know who that "someone" is, no matter how you try to shift all the blame only to the government.

I'd be the last person to say the government is blameless in this, but pretending like they are "the only ones rigging the game" is beyond dishonest. What's worse, such an attitude perpetuates the problems.

It's rather simple... but you won't get any agreement from Printsmith. The "someone's" are... The Political Class (most politicians, Republicans and Democrats), and Crony Big Business. They exist for each other, they feed on each other, one can't exist anymore without each other, and we, down here, don't count anymore. Our ancestor founders would be shooting by now.

On this we agree.

:yeahthat:

"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther

The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill
