Since people are getting down on porn stars, even though most people watch their art regularly...which do you think is worse as a role model for your kids as a teacher.

The divorced person
OR
The porn star?
The question doesn't even make sense. Normally a person in the porn industry has made some sort of decision to be in that business... not all divorced people are divorced by their own volition. How can you compare the two? Are you going to tell me if you have woman, who was divorced by her husband, and the husband instigated the divorce, had the money and legal talent to win the divorce, then your are now trying to compare her to a porn star?

The same logic by which the original poster assumes that "most" people watch porn "regularly" and that the only reason 100% of women don't divorce their husbands is because of money.
You'd think he would hurt his knuckles with them scraping the ground like that...
With the divorce rate around 50%, I wonder how many teachers would be eliminated if that was a factor... (Of course, the marriage rate has gone down 50% since 1970 too, so that means there are fewer marriages to dissolve...) I guess all those "eligible" women have figured out they don't NEED a husband to have a good career, and make a lot of money.

I wasn't passing judgement on why/what/where/when/how/affordability/need/whatever of divorce. I was simply trying to imply that a divorced person, anyone, male or female, are not always divorced by their own volition. It's not fair to lump a divorced person as equal to a porn entertainer who usually makes the decision to be in that industry.
The "poll" is totally wrong.
And if the OP thinks there is some moral equivalence between a divorce person and a porn entertainer, the OP is sick.
Good to know that there are stupid questions and that polls can be wrong...well I guess we knew that polls were wrong, just look at all the election polls here, the opposit of 285bounds perspective is the actual community perspective. Luckily there are more than 2 sides.
I meant to say adulterer, does that change it? Sorry for the connotations of using the wrong word. Please tell me that the 285bound crowd does not feel that an adulterer is a better role model for your kid vs. a pornstar. A quick search found that 10% or so of married people ADMIT to cheating on their spouses in the last YEAR.
So when 200/100,000,000 of American working adults are pornstars but fully 10% of married people or 2-5% of working adults CHEATED on their spouse just in the last year ALONE.
It seems to me that if people are worked up about a porn star teacher (based on another thread i did not start)......they should be far more worried about the immoral cheater teacher, they are all over the place and do one of the things that is the lowest of the low. If you have cheated on your spouse, please do not respond.
Though I do wish I lived in this ideal world like some of you where women did not marry or stay married in droves because of money or where dad does not watch porn regularly. Keep on telling yourself that. Somehow the 285bound crowd gets to trump all the stats. I guess that is why there are no major community issues up here.

Well... what you meant to say, and what you did say is two different things. And you have a low opinion of people in general. Disgusting. If you read the other thread, I was not worked up at all about a porn entertainer working as a teacher, as long as she was qualified. I think why people are worked up is because YOU tried to equate divorce and sex entertainers in the same poll. Didn't you catch that?
By the numbers your kids will watch lots of porn (average internet user 3hrs/wk) and in the unlikely chance they get married, they will likely get divorced.
So like it or not, divorce and porn are a big part of many American lives.
I still would rather have the average porn star teach my kids vs. the average divorce'. The odds of that divorce' being a cheater are just too high.
But then again, I am just an internet personality, I am not a real person. Do you really think that I hate everyone and run companies and pay lots of taxes. I am a hermit with a hamsters rowing in a boat to make my power to run my computer. You may be impressed that I tought them how to do it, but the real hard part was teach the fat one in front to tell the others to row in sinc.
