He decided to take his ball and go home.

"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther

I kinda miss Viking. And Wayne-O too, when he was funnier. Not a good thing to have people bailing.
Just sayin.

I almost left a few times too. :)

I don't think it's bailing so much as taking a break, or maybe a community forum just not being important in this phase of a person's life.

Agreed. As a member/moderator of several forums for over a number of years now I've witnessed some come and go (bail so to speak), take breaks, avoid areas of forums they were once active in and even create alter egos to argue/counter-act with their other usernames in some form of odd personal entertainment and all while thinking others don't really know. After a while you almost tune out the "who's who" and simply deal with the topics at hand rather than the author.

I wish more people would do this. Too often the author gets a hostile response without regard to what they are actually saying.
