Unfortunately the written phrase can be misinterpreted. "Its not what you say but how you say it".... we just don't have the how available to us on message boards in many cases. And then of course there is the reality of reading the 'who' and not the 'what'. "If so-and-so wrote it, its pure hatred, lies, crap, has no meaning, should be ignored, etc..."

Too often a situation like that presents itself in abundance and you find several people 'taking breaks' from a MB or particular area of a forum and more often than not when they're most active in political sessions. Admittedly I find myself a "read only" type of poster unless you catch me on a night like tonight where I've accomplished what I need and yet still have too damn much to think about.... sucks really.... need to either get supplies or start watching TV I guess. lol

Its true, taking a break once in awhile is a good idea. I'll always keep coming back if there is some entertainment value to be found.

If you want to be, press one. If you want not to be, press 2

where did the Viking go and why? I missed that one. All I can say is that you can NEVER I mean NEVER take any of this seriously. It is just not worth it. There are some folks that seem like they cannot exist if they don't have a fight to pick. For me, life is too short and not worth the lost time and aggravation.

I remember a great routine by Ellen Degenerous - she was commenting on how we all think everyone is looking at us and how we behave because of it - like if you are walking and stub your toe and trip a little... you can't just keep on walking, you have to start a little run skip and then get back to walking and while you are doing that, look back to see what caused you to stumble and laugh a little... like everyone is watching you.. when in reality, they are all doing the same things - so inwardly focused on what they are doing because they think everyone is watching THEM! HA!

Bottom line, no one is really watching anyone

I think he said something about being too busy converting "hundreds and hundreds" of people to his way of thinking on other forums.

I wish he'd named the forums so I could avoid them.

I really thought the man would have replied by now predicting a big Perry win in South Carolina.

BTW, don't really care for Gov. Perry but do like his tax ideas. (Forbes.)
