stinking hypocrisy in conservatives

"The last two presidential election cycles have revealed a stinking hypocrisy in conservatives: They profess their love of capitalism and entrepreneurship, but when offered a real capitalist and entrepreneur, they go, “Eek, a mouse!” And they tear him down in proud social-democrat fashion. In the off season, they sound like Friedrich Hayek. When the game is on, they sound like Huey Long, Bella Abzug, or Bob Shrum."................

You called?

Have to agree, like when Newt attacks Romney for the Bain group. Obama's people are probably taking notes from the Georgia Speaker on how to destroy Mitt.

Republicans and conservatives are not interchangeable. The hypocrisy is with the party.

The Obama team would be silly not to be taking notes... The same way the GOP would be taking notes if it were the Dems ripping each other apart. Opposition material works--regardless of who is using it.

Yeah, it is gonna be sad if we get a lame candidate to go against a horribly lame president. Right now we need a bold leader....and we will likely get a choice between an unknown and a horrible prez.

Too bad future generations aren't here to see all the great things we are spending their $$ on!!

I believe both parties are guilty of "cannibalization" during primaries, particularly when their party is not currently in office. I'd be willing to bet once the primary is over, all these Republican candidates will come together on a united front to support the eventual winner and glad hand each other and be best buds, just as the Dems have in past contests. I also believe our current two party "system" needs drastic overhaul - to what, exactly, I'm not sure - because as it is, I don't see there really ever being a possibility of a viable third party candidate unless something drastic happens.

I'm all for it. Let him spend his money, and research to do the job for us.... I love hearing the "job-creator" explain how many thousands he trashed while pocketing mega-millions on the companies they leveraged and destroyed to make a quick buck. That will go over so well.... :like:
