The UAE Masdar project is run primarily by western trained engineers, exclusively for the purpose of generating power.
The UAE will not refine fuel, and the project does not use weapons grade material (remember "Nuclear" involves a wide range
of material and applications - ranging from mild radioactive isotopes used by your physician --- all the way up to a full blown nuclear weapon).
The USA supported the UAE, since it has given technological and political assurances. Plus - the UAE isn't Iran.
