DNC Chair-NH primary win actually a loss for Mitt

Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz on MSNBC’s coverage of the primary results...

“You could really declare it a loss, because he should have blown the doors off in this state,” she pronounced. “In addition to that, the Republican turnout was off about 40 percent from the turnout in 2008, showing that this is not a field that their side is very enthusiastic about.”[/i]

It appears that the GOP better not count their chickens before they hatch. A 40% reduction in voter turnout is something to be concerned about.

The R's are IMPLODING and the D's are just waiting in the wings for a win.........I'm an INDY,so my observation is pretty non-partisan.
THEN there is the "Donald" who is observing also and has stated he will offer up another option,if HE doesn't like the selected figurehead.

Iowa turnout was lower too. Personally I am not nearly as excited about the choices in 2012 as I was in 2008. This time four years ago I had donated, but so far no Republican nominee has got anything from me.

I'm not as excited as I am fearful of another 4 years of the current disaster. I think I'd vote for Snookie before Obama...at least she spends most of he time on her back and can't do damage to the rest of us.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

Is it any wonder that people aren't enthused about The Mitt? I mean, what's with running the Poster Boy for Corporate Raiding and Wallstreet hijinks while we're still fumbling around in the rubble of the Wall Street meltdown?

Well of course the total turnout was down 40% from 2008 - only one party had a contest for delegates at the upcoming convention. The other party has only a single nominee who will win all the delegates each state has to offer.

Now, if we are talking about Republican turnout at these primaries, it is greater than it was in 2008.

This year's caucus also set a record for turnout, with 122,255 total votes cast. The previous record for the GOP caucus was 119,000 votes, set in 2008.

New Hampshire voters turned out in record numbers in Tuesday’s Republican presidential primary.

According to the secretary of state’s office, there were 247,223 ballots cast in the GOP primary – beating the previous high of 241,039 Republican ballots cast in 2008. The turnout represented 45.4 percent of total registered Republican and undeclared voters, as of Dec. 14.

FWIW, I wouldn't be getting my information about the Republican party from the head of the DNC. It's normally not a good idea and with a liar like Wasserman-Schultz as the chosen leader of the DNC, it's an even poorer idea than it normally would be.

They may have turned out, but they didn't turn out for Romney. He's usually just the kind of guy New Hampshire voters lap up, too. The fact that they treated him a little bit like last week's tuna salad says a lot.

Stop the presses. I'm sorry. I should have known better to post an article that was sourced from the Democratic National Committee Chairwoman, Debbie Was-a-man Schultz. I should have known ahead of time that she would just simply lie to start a meme.

Primary set record for GOP turnout

A GOP RECORD. Voter turnout Tuesday set a record for a Republican presidential primary but fell short of the Democrats' turnout record set four years ago. The Secretary of State's office released county, city and town summaries showing that 247,223 votes were cast for candidates on the Republican ballot. Still, said Gardner, it's a record for a Republican presidential primary. The previous high in a Republican primary came in 2008, when 241,039 GOP votes were cast. Gardner said that 60,996 voted in the Democratic primary, far short of the 75,000 he had predicted.

There we go... the Queen of Ad Hominem Tu Quoque strikes again. No matter that Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Was-a-man Schultz outright lied. No matter that Reince Priebus had nothing, nada, zilch, zero to do with her statements OR the statements by the New Hampshire Secretary of State's office. No matter that Reince Priebus wasn't quoted, referenced or mentioned in either of the three article's I linked to... the Queen of Ad Hominem Tu Quoque thinks we are as stupid as she is and we will ignore Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Was-a-man Schultz lies just because she mentioned Reince Priebus.

Nope... Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Was-a-man Schultz still outright lied and nothing you posted above changes that one iota. But thank you for playing.
