“Fast and Furious” was never about tracking guns into Mexico. It was all about gun control, and not the good kind.

Thanks... I did write my Senators...

Re: S. 570 -- "a bill to prohibit the Department of Justice from tracking and cataloguing the purchases of multiple rifles and shotguns."

As usual, the NRA is marshaling its forces to try to block any attempts to stem the bulk purchases and straw purchases of large quantities of weapons that "just happen" to make their way across the border into the hands of the Mexican drug gangs.

I urge you to vote against this bill and allow the BATF to track and register these kinds of transactions. "Amendment-2 rights" are one thing...Pouring gasoline on a drug-war is something else.

Thank you,

I appreciate the heads-up....
