It's strange how they singled out Apple even though it says in the article that all manufacturers are using cheap Chinese labor. Anyone buying any electronic device is supporting cheap Chinese labor.
The article says that they are secretly supporting a union even though unions are outlawed in China. Don't people in the USA consider unions socialism?

That's alright. Apple is the liberals Jewel of Responsible Corporate Behavior. You won't see any Occupy protestors complaining about Apple. Steve Jobs was a liberal icon. Careful what you say about Apple.
It is EXTREMELY difficult to purchase everyday items that are not partly or wholly made in China. I recollect the boycots of clothing that were manufactured using cheap or child labor overseas.
BUY AMERICAN! All government contracts should be forced by law to be awarded to U.S. companies which produce U.S. manufactured goods.
I thought we were all pretty aware by now? No? Oh.
Warning: Employees all over the world are being mistreated to bring us the life we live in the US.
Consider this:
It is cheaper to build and manufacture and ship a device from eastern Asia to the US than it is to make the same device locally becuase labor is cheaper in other countries. This is true of sweat-shops like this one, as well as regular, respectable, upstanding factories around the world.
I'm not saying sweatshops are the right way to go, but let's say you have $500, and you need a dog house. When there's someone telling you that they can build you a doghouse for $100, and another guy saying he can do it for $500, which do you pick if the quality is the same?
