Thousands of Christians to Gather in Hollywood to Pray

26 Jan 2012 11:55 #1 by CinnamonGirl
More than just a simple prayer, TheCRY is, according to Director Faytene Grasseschi, "not a concert or a conference, this is a cry for God to move with His love and power in entertainment media in a way that will impact the masses."

Prayer leaders, worship leaders and artists will come at their own expense and offer their prayers with one heart proclaiming and asking God to move the entertainment industry during the March 15 event. With this gathering, Grasseschi hopes to see significant shifts in the world.

I'm sure the local hotels, restaurants and airlines will appreciate the influx of revenue.

- temporary - everything is a fad

It's the last place I'd like to see Christians gather......

That was pretty obvious from the start...But, as I said, I'm sure the local economy will appreciate the influx of income from a bunch of irrelevant people gathering in town....

Ya, you're only "relevant" if you occupy and trash an area for months.

It might help the local economy, but I have heard complaints from local merchants before about Christian gatherings. They tend to be tighter with their money, don't spend nearly as much at bars or with streetwalkers as your typical Hollywood visitors.
