Yes it's true, this brain stem is trying to make a point of some kind Unfortunately she won't get much of a honeymoon since the building is being torn down as we speak. And for some reason, she's calling this a "gay marriage"....Hopefully she will mourn the building's death for years and not breed.
She fell in love with the building after being introduced to it during an Occupy Seattle protest.
In December, she and 16 activists "occupied" the ware house because they believed in the building as a “community space” that shouldn’t be subject to gentrification.
This is why I keep coming back to 285bound! Reading and posting here does actually give me new thoughts and ideas. Often things where the parts were on the table, but I had no reason to assemble them.
So....
In a related thought....
If corporations are people....and we are opening our mind more and more about govt marriage (which we now seem to respect more than religious marriage) to include other bonds between people besides a man and a woman....can I marry a corporation....and if I marry a foreign corporation....can it become an American corporation?
to be clear, I have no issues with Gay marriage, though I do have issues with govt Gay marriage just like I have issues with govt straight marriage, I don't like the govt in the marriage business, I think churches, mosques and backyard cerimonies have that covered.
What kind of benefits will the bride soon to be widow be entitled to once the walls come down? Since she is the only known living relative will she be responsible for the "burial?" Wouldn't it be a nice gesture if the owner offered to let these squatters pay for the demolition and removal of the building?
It isn't that hard to get arrested in Seattle, if she is just squatting in the warehouse waiting for a free trip to the hotel Greybar there are easier ways to get there.
I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.
