Recently in Denver a young man threw a glitter bomb at Mitt Romney while the governor was under Secret Service protection.
Personally I think it is a funny goof that normally doesn't hurt anyone, but I think the reaction from bodyguards could easily be deadly to the thrower and innocent bystanders so I would like judges to penalize the throwers harshly to discourage copycats.
A three month jail term combined with a heavy fine and months of community service would be appropriate.
