Svensmark who has been working on his CLOUD experiment at CERN (Oh... you never heard of CLOUD, you never read anything about the results of the experiment... no wonder... see article for details)... has some possible bad news for the CO2 AGW proponents...

The temperature of the Earth, he argues, is regulated by the intensity of solar radiation, but not in the obvious way.... When cosmic rays hit the atmosphere, he argues, their impact on air molecules creates nucleation sites for the condensation of water vapor, leading to an increase in cloud-formation... Those who have followed the global warming controversy over the years may recall that cloud-formation is one of the major gaps in the computerized climate "models" used by the consensus scientists to predict global warming.

In Germany, where the global warming dogma has been very deeply entrenched, one of the founding fathers of Germany's environmentalist movement, Professor Fritz Vahrenholt, has converted into a global warming skeptic and is promoting his views in a new book and a series of articles in Bild, a major German newspaper.

One of the fathers of Germany’s modern green movement, Professor Dr. Fritz Vahrenholt, a social democrat and green activist, decided to author a climate science skeptical book together with geologist/paleontologist Dr. Sebastian Lüning. Vahrenholt’s skepticism started when he was asked to review an IPCC report on renewable energy. He found hundreds of errors. When he pointed them out, IPCC officials simply brushed them aside. Stunned, he asked himself, “Is this the way they approached the climate assessment reports?”

Vahrenholt decided to do some digging. His colleague Dr. Lüning also gave him a copy of Andrew Montford’s The Hockey Stick Illusion. He was horrified by the sloppiness and deception he found. Persuaded by Hoffmann & Campe, he and Lüning decided to write the book. Die kalte Sonne cites 800 sources and has over 80 charts and figures. It examines and summarizes the latest science.

The connection? The work of the Danish researcher Henrik Svensmark and other climate scientists convinced Professor Dr. Fritz Vahrenholt that the fluctuating magnetic field of the sun is a driver of climate change.

This can't be ignored. This would be like President Obama announcing that he is a Muslim. Over the last few weeks we've been informed that there has been no meaningful warming in the last 15 years, Himalayas are not melting near at near the rate predicted by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change and according to new research by scientists at the University of Colorado, Boulder Earth's Polar Ice Melting Less Than Thought. Over the last 10 years we have been told that "children in England will never see snow again" or that due to AGW the end of the world is coming and billions will die by 2100.

Science is constantly changing with a whole spectrum of theories, and those that have told us that the science of global warming is "settled" are no better than the priests and shamans that tell us that god has deemed all mankind to total destruction at some future Armageddon.

I was hoping for some input or comment about these developments in regards to global warming from Science Chis or some of our more informed scholars on 285 Bound.

Where does your link address the CERN experiments by Henrik Svensmark? And your answer does not even talk about any of the objections that have recently come to light from Professor Dr. Fritz Vahrenholt. You're link is just more of the OLD talking points. Repeat something enough times and it becomes the "truth".
