Ok, back on topic, two of the biggest drug deaths lately have been Houston and Michael Jackson, both presumed to be legal, prescription drugs. A new study say twice as many people are dying from prescription painkiller like oxygen than heroin and cocaine.

Gee, what wears a flag-pin, loses two pieces of brain tissue, but won't miss it because he wasn't using it anyway? Senator Mark Kirk...

Too soon?

Yeppers, all true. Many drug addicts choose prescription drugs because, unlike heroin bought on the street, the purity and quantity of the drug is not something that is an unknown factor. When a drug addict buys a 30mg pill, they know that there is 30 mg of 100% pure narcotic being purchased. If one wishes to get high and minimize their chances of expiring from an overdose, it makes perfect sense to seek out and use prescription drugs in an illegal fashion for that purpose, doesn't it?

Only if they can tell the difference between the real thing and counterfeits, which have flooded the market and even show up in Dr's. offices.

Bill O'Reilly is taking up the cause that the entertainment community should have done more to condemn drug abuse in the industry. I don't agree. Since alcohol kills more than drugs, should O'Reilly refuse to allow beer ads on his show too?
